1.0.9 Component with Positive and Negative Bonus points used for Rugby league

You can find here :http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IMN5YN9P a build of 1.0.9 version of component and all modules (next matches 1.3, players 1.2, results 1.3, table 1.2) wich works with my build.
The modifications I have made are the followings:

1.Possibility to add positive or negative bonus points to teams.
To use bonus points just enable it BE season page, and choose if you wan't to display or not bonus collumn in Ranking Table

You can change the tittle of bonus collumn in the public language page, like in official version :

To add bonus point to a team just put the number of bonus points in the box near result:

2.Possibility to add "brittain" ranking in ranking table.
This ranking system is non official but used by a lot of rugby team managers and supporters. The points generaly used are the following : win home = 0point; win away =+2points; draw home= -1point; draw away=+1point; lost home = -2points; lost away = 0 points.

If you don't want to use it just don't check the box to display it in ranking table.
You can change the tittle of "Brittain" ranking collumn in the public language page, like in official version :

3.Move Points near team name in season table layout.

4.Change sorting of calendar layout.
To correct the problem of postponed match the sorting is the following :
1 Matchday
2 Date
3 Time
4 Match Id ( I add this to have my team matches in the first line of each matchday if all matches of this matchday are played at the same date and time. Just have to think to create the match of my team first in each matchday :-))

5.Add a medium and a short name to each team.
If you don't use before the latest version of 1.0.7 component I made, when you install this version you can see all your teams name are not displayed! Don't be afraid your data haven't be deleted It's just because the long name used in official version of component is now only used in the tittle of the team layout. http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/695/teamlayout.png In all other places of component the team name used is the medium name. The short name is used in all modules instead of long team name used in official modules version.
To have your team displayed just go in BE teams page and add a medium (max 15 digit) and short name ( max 4 digit) to each team.

6.All the component is translatable
Like you can see in all pictures above , all the component is now translatable.
In this build you can find the EN (Thanks to Beardev team), IT (Thanks to Alex), RU (Thanks to F@tum), and FR (Thanks to me :-) ) language. If you want to add a translation in a new language edit the language file you want (en-GB.com_bearleague.ini, fr-FR.com_bearleague.ini, it-IT.com_bearleague.ini, or ru-RU.com_bearleague.ini) and save the new file xx-XX.com_bearleague.ini 2 times : first in root>language>xx-XX directory and second time in Root>administrator>language>xx-XX directory. If you make a new translation you can post it on megaupload, like this I could include it in the futures versions.....
The module table is already translatable by the same method. Edit the language file and place the new file in the zip before install.
The only thing wich is not translatable in ini file, is the menu in BE. So I don't change anything, it's already in english. If you want to translate it you have to edit the file bearleague.xml in the zip file, change the values lines 343 to 357 and replace the new file in zip before install



To install this build, like allready don't forget to make a save of your website and your database before installing:
1 Downlaod it :)
2 Unzip the package where you want.
3 Unistall previous version of component ( and modules, if you wan't to use the joined modules) YOUR DATA ARE NOT DELETED
4 Install the new version of component ( and eventualy modules)
5 Go to your joomla BE menu page and open then save your links !

En fait, j'ai essentiellement deux questions :
- Sur mon site (en cours de réalisation pour Villefranche
XIII), dans le menu seniors, je souhaite mettre un lien vers
le calendrier (qui est accessible par l'icône en haut à droite)
du classement. Comment faire ?
- Comment depuis les modules présents en page d'accueil
(prochains matches, classement,...) faire un lien vers les
pages plus détaillées correspondantes ?

Par ailleurs, quatre caractères, c'est un peu juste pour
rendre lisibles les modules cités ci-dessus. Ne pourrait-on
en avoir plus ?

I reply in english, like this if some internationals users have the same question, it's more easy for them to understand....

1- you have to create a link for ranking table, then go to your database, edit the link and change it to make a direct link to calendar.

2- For the result and next match module the link is already present ( if you clic on the score you go to the match for exemple, for the other modules at this time it's not possible, but perhap's in a future version....;)

3-I give the solution on another post you can find it below :

Hi Eric,

for our competition, we use so called Fair Play points, this is done with the Bonus function. We need the Fair Play (bonus) points to overrule the GD.

So:
Team A: 3 Matchpoints, 2 Fairplay points, GD 3-0 = 5 points
Team B: 2 Matchpoints, 3 Fairplay points, GD 0-1 = 5 points

Now both teams have a total of 5 points, team A will stand on the first place, because of their better GD. In our competition team B have to stand 1st, because the Fair Play (in our competition) is more important then the GD.

Is it possible with a simple script edit to make this happen?

1 By Total points (Bonus + "regular"Points)
2 By Bonus
3 By GD

premièrement merci pour ce super composant que je viens tout juste de découvrir, j'ai même quitté Joomleague pout BearDev malgré l'absence de la partie pronostics...

J'ai un petit problème j'imagine au niveau css mais vu que je ne suis pas doué je demande de l'aide ici.

Sur le classement (http://rugbycis.o2switch.net/classement) j'ai un décalage entre les titres et les données dans le tableau.

En + ça me décale mon footer en bas de page !!! donc j'imagine qu'il y a un pb entre le css de BearDev et le css de mon template joomla ?

Ps : j'ai eu une petite erreur lors de mon inscription sur le forum, une page 404 après avoir rempli le formulaire d'enregistrement idem après le mail de validation. Malgré ça j'ai pu m'inscrire donc rien de grave mais bon...

How can I change in the admin part to use team's full name instead of middle name?
Specially when I have to assign teams to a season.

I have the same middle name for different categories of one team (Seniors / Juniors).
So in the full name I put (S) or (J) at the end to make the difference.

For your request you have to edit Root>administrator>components>com_bearleague>admin.bearleague.php and replace t_moy_name by t_name line 1836; 1859 and 1874 (2 remplacements in this line)

Last but not least... No one on the forum discuss the option of creating return legs of a season automatically (in french : phase retour)

Am I wrong or it's not implemented at all ? And if so, any code snippets to add in the Match Day section ?

By the way, I took a look in the mysql tables, I would like to reproduce the same calendar of a season for other teams (remember, senior/junior) can I make an SQL inject in the bl_matchday with the corresponding team_id after reproducing the matchdays in bl_match ?

I'm asking that to be sure there's no other thing to do...

You're right, at this time there is no other way to create quickly return legs. I hope beardev team add this tip in a future version......

To make mines I used Excel, to copy sql dump of 1st matches then inverse home team and away teams, and re inject the result in bl_match table by sql.

I have the exact same problem. I can see the Bonus Point
that I can select and configure but my Teams have disappeared.

This is an awesome addition if you can allow us to see
the Teams then this would be great.

I successfully downloaded your component in the past and found it great. But I have now to start again from scratch because my hard drive died (:shock: grrrrr). For now, I installed Beardev and downloaded your component. But when I try installing it, I get an error message saying "Erreur : Impossible de trouver un fichier XML d'installation dans ce pack!"

I'm not sure, but I think your problem is you don't unzip the pack before try to install. In the pack you download in the first post you have 5 files :
* com_bearleague_1.0.9_ By Zebulon437
* mod_bl_players_1.2_By_Zebulon437
* mod_bl_table_1.2_By_Zebulon437
* mod_bl_next_matches_1.3_By_Zebulon437
* mod_bl_results_1.3_By_Zebulon437

You have to use the first of this five files to install the component.

I am anxious that you post your version of Bearleague.

In the latest version 1.1.0, the bonus points do not appear in the rankings.

In addition, the flash animations that I put in the "info on the team" do not appear, while there had no problem with version 1.0.9 ...
