Different Scoring Method
Question Different Scoring Method
on 03/06/2010 19:28

Hi Folks,

Just start playing with component.

I'm attempting to do a site for my local irish GAA team but it has a different scoring method then Soccer.

In a match you can score a goal or a point.
A Goal is worth three points. A result would look like

TeamA 1-15 TeamB 0-19

TeamA scored 1 goal and 15 points.
TeamB scored 0 goals and 19 points.

Any pointers on how i can factor that into match results, player stats and league tables.

It's probably messy any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ciarán

A Goal looks like above link (also attached to this post)

If you score into net you get a goal, which is worth 3 points
If you score over bar you get 1 point.

Wiki link might explain it better.

Thanks,
Ciarán
