A few problems with the update
Post A few problems with the update

John

Just installed the update on a couple of servers, one a test server running iis, the other a linux based host with apache.

The positives

Like the club logo in the league table
The Tabs look smart

Unfortunately for me with the existing data

I am getting a white screen when you select the team view linked from the league table, or through the component link from the the menu.

Also when I look at the fixtures from the calendar tab on the league table page I again get a white screen.

Server errors show

[Wed Jul 21 00:00:38 2010] [error] [client 81.154.145.15] FastCGI: comm with (dynamic) server "/var/www/fcgi/php-cgi" aborted: (first read) idle timeout (30 sec)
[Wed Jul 21 00:00:38 2010] [error] [client 81.154.145.15] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/var/www/fcgi/php-cgi"

site is available to view at
http://www.broadstreet-rugby.co.uk/ltable/1.html

Bearleague options available from the bearleague menu right hand side.

Great news with the update

Is there something else that I need to do ?

thanks again

I also get a white screen when I try and upload a photo to
the Players Profile.

I am doing the following via Bear League Back End Access.

1. Select Player
2. Go to the area where I can "Upload photo to the Player
gallery"
3. Browse for an image
4. Select image
5. Press "Apply"
And then I receive a White Screen.

When I refresh it just takes me to the Beasr League Back End
options and no updates to the players photo has occurred.

Image was 250 x 250 I then resized the image to 125 x 125
and I still received the "White Screen".

Thanks

Post SEF
on 07/21/2010 13:25

I use Sh404SEF however the component does the same with sef on or off. I tried joomla sef on and off.

With all url rewriting and global config options SEF - No, Apache rewrite - No, Add suffix - no, clicking on the team from the league table gives a white screen.

I've SET SH404sef to skip the bearleague component and left it like that
http://www.broadstreet-rugby.co.uk/index.php?option=com_bearleague&view=ltable&sid=1&gr_id=0&Itemid=361

Sh404SEF version is 1.5.6.398

First of all, very good work you've done with this update. Thank you very much!

I'm getting this message:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/content/d/o/n/donellyfan/html/components/com_bearleague/includes/tabs.php on line 5"

when i put a league table as a menu item.
help... :)

Post Identified the problem with another plugin

John

apologies for the rash statement.

I was so pleased to see an update I installed the component and modules and went to check them immediately. However my problem with the component was being generated by another plugin
