Hi there,
Getting used to BearLeague - Looks great.
My understanding is at the front-end you can have an overall Season admin and individual Team admins - That's fine BUT I don't want the Team admins to be able to change scores, fixtures or the match report.... This means they have the power to 'alter history' and 'mess up the tables' by changing scores if they are naughty!
I do want them to be able to maintain their own team though - team pages, player profiles.... just not the core info (scores, fixtures, match report)...
Is that restriction possible? Any one else thinking the same way? Currently I'd have to only allow an overall season admin which is a shame :con:
Hello,
at the momenyt we have no this option at all.
Team admin cannot publish the results of the matches. Because Season admin need to approve the results first it will be calculated at the Tournament table.
But If you need this customization contact us

Thanks John - Understood
I didn't realise the Team Captain entered the scores and then it went for 'approval' - Got it now...
Ok, was playing with how this works and have found a weakness that could be exploited...
1) Team Captain enters a game result
2) Season Admin then approves the result and the tables update as they should
3) Team Captain can now edit his team - go to Match-Day and change the match results that got approved in (2)
4) Now the front-end score shows as -:- !!!!!!!!!!!
hello,
it remains on his conscience

A good moral point - yes!
But even if not meant maliciously, it's a shame that a keen team captain experimenting with the system can mess it up...... Can it be locked down a bit more?
