When you installed the componet, I am assuming you did through the joomal backend. Are you FTP settings setup inside the gernal joomla config settings?

Alot of people tend to overlook that step, and it casues the group/owner to become "unknown".

Unless your talking about mw2 for the console i wouldn't bother with a PC league of the game.. there is no competitive following for the failure that it is. I would look at Bad Company 2 for your league as it holds more promise, having 2 comp modes out of box from what i understand.

I haven't tested, just guessing from looking at the table of the default.php in views\ltable\tmpl

What do you mean by frame? You want to change the borders to graphics? Or do you want to display the table in an iframe?

For Option 1, Learning style sheets will be friend.

Option 2. Just google iframe.

The module should already do what you have asked. Unless they changed it to only show (1) team at a time in the last release, but I thought it was able to do both.

Yeah that is not where i was talking about.

Your webhosting should have a cpanel where you manage your website account and features.

I'm pretty sure you can't change folder permissions from inside joomla.

take a screen shot of you cpanel inside of you media manager and post a link to it so i can see.

Only typing this out because i do not know how much you know, not meant to offend

1. Once inside the media manager - press print screen

2. open paint

3. paste into paint

4. save file.

5. upload somwhere.

6. provide link in post here.

But to clarify again, highlight the "media" folder then click the change permissions button on the top menu.

If you are browsining your folders vis ftp client then you can just right click on the folder and select the Attributes tab.

If you are doing this through cpanel (my cuurent layout) Highlight the folder name and click the change permissions tab on the top menu.

For the reverse order would you not just change this in the helper.php of the results module?

If you guys are implementing fixes into versions, you should atleast update the main page so people know. :p

Maybe adding extra fields to the match days would be best here instead adding another tab to do the same thing.

Nice release guys, did some quick testing, no problems so far.

I think he was refering to it's today date, but he failed to serach and see a refernce to it being tomorrow the release comes out.

Or maybe he just likes to post random dates with no explanation ;p

yes it does make sense, has many uses. Think about for a sec and you'll see why he and others will want it.

stable, non-stable i am easy either way.. Just curious to know what will be included in the next release. Obviously I am looking for the e-sports features to be available as I would love to use this componet to launch a few dedicated e-sports leagues.

I was just curious as to what features will be in the stable release and when that release will be available? I think i read early August somewhere but my A.D.D might be tricking me :)

My firfox crashes on any site, this is not to do with the bearleague script. I am using ie:8 in compatability mode until a fix is released :(

I was hopping to see something like this :)

First off great componet guys.. very clean.

As for ESports that would be awesome, so here are few key features that would seriously make/break any league script. (Remeber I said league not ladder)

1. Site users can create/join team (1 only, but could be configurable in the B.E)

2. Ability for multi League support so teams would have to be sepereated by league.

3. Match Reporting - Team Capatans (Creators) Should have the ability to enter the final result of the match and only once for each match.

I could probably go on and on about must haves and don't do's, but this is enough to puzzle the mind for a few hours.
